Preventive Maintenance

Manufacturers know that a properly maintained vehicle will be more dependable,
safer, last longer and increase your satisfaction with their product. Car makers and
owners also have a responsibility to make sure emission controls receive regular service
and are functioning properly. Regular maintenance helps accomplish these goals by
keeping your engine running efficiently and eliminating potential problems that may
leave you stranded.
 

Major Tune Up

Check on engine analyzer, replace spark plugs, perform fuel injection service, visually
inspect all accessible related components and replace as necessary. Recheck on engine
analyzer and road test for proper operation of vehicle.

   
Fuel Injection Service

Motor vac carbon clean fuel injectors, clean isc/asc motors, as required. Clean
throttle body air intake. Pressure test fuel pump. Decarbonize intake manifold,
decarbonize intake and exhaust valves. Decarbonize combustion chamber and
pistons. Test exhaust emissions and road test for proper vehicle operation.
 

 Cooling system service.

Pressure test cooling system for leaks. Clean and flush cooling system.
Visually inspect radiator cooling fan, heater operation, belts and hoses.
 
 

Brake Fluid Flush and Inspection

Inspect brake system, flush old fluid out of master cylinder, calipers and/or wheel
cylinders and lines. Add new fluid and road test vehicle for proper brake operation.
 
 
Electrical System Analysis

Inspect battery connections. Charge battery to full capacity (if needed). Load test
battery, inspect alternator belt, perform alternator output test, perform starter draw test,
perform test for draw on electrical system. Replace battery, if required.  
 
Transmission Fluid Service

Flush and refill transmission fluid. Install transmission additive to revitalize seals and
o-rings. Road test vehicle for proper transmission operation.

   
Power Steering System Service

Flush power steering system. Inspect system for leaks. Install power steering additive
to revitalize seals and o-rings. Road test vehicle for proper power steering operation.

   
Vehicle Inspection and Pre Purchase Examination


    Seasonal preventive maintenance checkup. Inspect air conditioning and heater. Check
charging/starting systems. Check belts, hoses, tires, fluids and lights. Check brake
system. Check engine for tune up, oil leaks and motor mounts. Check exhaust system.
Check steering system. Check struts and/or shocks. Check body and glass.
Road test vehicle for proper operation.
 

Air Conditioning Service

    Performance test A.C. operation. Inspect all visible A.C. components for leaks and
add freon dye, if needed. Evacuate and recharge A.C. freon to proper A.C.
specifications and test antifreeze for proper mix.
