The conceptual drawing was created by nationally known artist Darryl Mayabb. After receiving the drawings work was began by Zoommer's Automotive late February 1995. Many long and arduous years have transpired and completion of the car is anticipated in early May, 2000. After much research as to the color, a custom green with blur pearl was chosen. I could not think of any name for this anticipated custom car other than "Envy."

New rocker panels were installed. The engine compartment cowl was modified to except a 1995 Corvette LT -1 engine. The roof was chopped 2 1/2 inches. The doorpost, or B pillars, were leaned 17 degrees. Although were inside windows were modified and cut to match the chopped roof. The door handles, the hood ornament in the tailgate received the shave treatment. All of the body modifications were performed to achieve a clean, uncluttered body style. The front grill was fabricated from the three Ford Woody years of 1949, 1950 and 1951. The grill is a combination of the 1949 center bar and its park lamps.

The top curved grill bar is from a 1949. The rear bumper was created from two rear bumpers from a 1949 sedan with accompanying eyelids for the exhaust trumpets and front bumper from the original 1950 vehicle.

The engine is a 1995 Corvette LT -1. The transmission is a late-model R700 -4 automatic overdrive. Four-wheel -- 11 inch disk brakes were installed. There is a custom stainless-steel fuel tank and a custom stainless-steel exhaust. The frame, of course, was modified to except the late model drivetrain and then powder coated to a cappuccino color. Vintage air-conditioning was installed along with Dakota Digital dash instruments

The interior was created out of cappuccino tan leather along with an accompanying dark shade of tan and inserts of green Ultrasuede and baby ostrich leather.

The exterior wood consists of hardwood white maple with birds eye maple inserts, or panels. Special Budnick wheels (A to rrowhead) were installed -- 18 inch rear and 17 inch front.

The vehicle suspension is from Air Ride Technologies for the front and air shocks for the rear. The rear gate spare tire was removed and a distinctive wood was fashioned.

The unique stance of the vehicle in a parked staff to position is achieved with lowering of the front air bags and slight lowering of the rear air shocks. This one-of-a-kind vehicle took six years to create an righteously is called "Envy".
